Session Overview

During this 60-minute session participants will learn how to identify and have a conversation with a significant individual or family who requires support and advice on issues involving ‘Succession’. The webinar will cover how to package an offer to service the client. The conversations can be quite broad and deep pending the complexity of the asset base and group. There is a need to create a level of tension, and this enables parties to openly discuss issues of Income, Equity and Control. This session will look at these three areas and demonstrate how these topics can help to create the 3:10 and 100-year plan for the individual, business and or family. Participants will learn how to ensure the vision (for all) is identified and delivered with highest degree of probability and least amount of risk.

Scott Fitzpatrick

Mentor, Significant Advice Network

Building closer and deeper relationships with valued clients is the philosophy I live by.

I’m a coach, teacher & mentor in the Family Advisory Board space.

A high-school teacher by trade, I moved into the advisory space in 1987 when I founded Fitzpatrick’s Private Wealth, a national advisory and wealth management firm. In those days, it was rare to find businesses using a client-centric advice model. I felt it was important to base our firm around truly understanding clients’ needs and charging on a transparent fee-for-advice policy.

Today, I’m sitting back as a mentor for Fitzpatrick’s, looking on towards my next projects, The Great Advisory Frameworks, (The GAF), and Significant Advice Network, (SAN).

The GAF is my online course giving advisors the business frameworks they need to build a great advisory business. Getting clarity around your value, capability and purpose is crucial to success. But more than that, The GAF helps participants to appreciate what makes a great life for them, and to love the work they do.

The Significant Advice Network coaching & mentoring program designed for experienced accounting, legal and financial Advisers who are looking for career extension and would like, in their next chapter of work, to sit on the family board. The Program provides Advisers with the tools, skills and capabilities to broaden the conversation with Individual’s and Families and to create a plan to deliver the client’s vision with the highest degree of probability and the lowest amount of risk.

Future clients want their SAN Adviser to know how to think about all their problems, construct a lifetime plan and drive them, the family and the business from ‘Chaos to Greatness’.
