This international study tour is designed to provide members with practical\, first‑hand insight into how leading advice practices are structuring their operations to improve capacity\, consistency and sustainability — while maintaining strong governance\, compliance and client outcomes. \nThe FAAA study tour will take members to Cebu\, Philippines\, to gain practical insight into how offshore support models are being used by Australian advice practices — not as a cost‑cutting exercise\, but as a strategic response to capacity\, compliance and growth challenges. \n The 3.5-day program (excluding travel) will include small‑group office visits with four leading offshore service providers\, facilitated discussions and conference‑style sessions\, alongside opportunities for peer learning and cultural immersion. \nThis unique experience includes: \n\n\nThe opportunity to visit the Cebu-based offices of the four service providers 5 ELK\, Qwrk \, VA Platinum and Vital Business Partners to tour their premises\, meet the key people and experience each provider’s offer first-hand. \n\n\nEach office visit will allow time to ask questions and include targeted practice management content that showcases each provider’s area of expertise. \n\n\nSmall group tours to give you time to connect with your fellow delegates and the local team members. \n\n\nUp to two days of practice management content and best practice sharing specifically focused on the successful implementation of offshore support models. \n\n\nAccommodation (includes 2 nights in central Cebu and 2 nights plus late check out on the final day/night on Mactan)\, with breakfast included. Optional room upgrades available. \n\n\nAirport transfers and local transportation whilst in Cebu. \n\n\nGroup dinners (3) and lunches (4). \n\n\nLocal cultural engagement and the opportunity to extend your stay at preferential hotel rates (pre- or post-study tour accommodation to be paid separately). \n\n\nInvestment Required: \n\n\nThe cost of the tour\, including accommodation (4 nights\, plus late check out on the 5th night)\, conference sessions\, all local transport\, meals and local taxes will be $2\,510 per delegate.. \n\n\n Please note: \n\n\nWhilst flights are not included in the cost above\, economy airfares from most major Australian metropolitan airports are averaging around $1\,500 per person (depending on the airline)\, which makes the combined cost to be approx $4\,010 for the week. \n\n\nGST is not payable. \n\n\nA minimum of 20 delegates is required for the tour to proceed (and the tour will be capped at 40 delegates). \n\n\nNext Steps: \n\n\nSecure your place by clicking the Expression of Interest below and filling in your details \n\n\nA non-refundable deposit of $110 per attendee is required to confirm your accommodation booking. \n\n\n50% ($1\,200) of the balance will be required by 30 June 2026\, with the final 50% ($1\,200) due by 31 July 2026. \n\n\nA full itinerary and detailed agenda will be shared with confirmed delegates in June. \n\n\nAS A REMINDER \nParticipants will gain: \n\n\nFirst‑hand insight into how offshore advice support teams operate in practice \n\n\nA clearer understanding of what to outsource\, what to retain onshore\, and why \n\n\nPractical examples of workflow design\, role clarity and quality control \n\n\nInsight into governance\, data security and risk management considerations \n\n\nGreater confidence to make informed decisions about future operating models \n\n\nThe focus is on education and informed decision‑making\, not promotion of any single solution. \nKey outcomes: \n\n\nBy the end of the study tour\, participants will be better equipped to: \n\n\nAssess whether offshoring is appropriate for their practice \n\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency\, turnaround times and adviser capacity \n\n\nStrengthen client outcomes through better operational design \n\n\nApply learnings within their own practice\, regardless of size or stage of growth \n\n\nOther information: \n\n\nProof of mandatory comprehensive travel insurance will be required at least 2 weeks prior to departure. \n\n\nIf you would like to take advantage of the preferential rates for accommodation to extend your stay\, please contact The Accommodation Brokers to discuss options. If interest exceeds the maximum number of delegates (40)\, the FAAA reserves the right to limit the number of attendees from a single practice. \n\n\nThe FAAA reserves the right to amend the program. \n\n\nIf geopolitical events mean that the study tour cannot proceed in August\, the tour will be postponed until early 2027. \n\n\nIf you would like to discuss the study tour\, please contact Tania Milnes via email Tania Milnes or call 1300 337 301. \n \n Expression of Interest\n \nMeet your speakers\n \nName \nTitle\, Company \nBio \n \nName \nTitle\, Company \nBio \nCost\nContent \nThank you to our event supporters
