This international study tour is designed to provide members with practical\, first‑hand insight into how leading advice practices are structuring their operations to improve capacity\, consistency and sustainability — while maintaining strong governance\, compliance and client outcomes. The FAAA study tour will take members to Cebu\, Philippines\, to gain practical insight into how offshore support models are being used by Australian advice practices — not as a cost‑cutting exercise\, but as a strategic response to capacity\, compliance and growth challenges.  The 3.5-day program (excluding travel) will include small‑group office visits with four leading offshore service providers\, facilitated discussions and conference‑style sessions\, alongside opportunities for peer learning and cultural immersion. This unique experience includes: The opportunity to visit the Cebu-based offices of the four service providers 5 ELK\, Qwrk \, VA Platinum and Vital Business Partners to tour their premises\, meet the key people and experience each provider’s offer first-hand. Each office visit will allow time to ask questions and include targeted practice management content that showcases each provider’s area of expertise. Small group tours to give you time to connect with your fellow delegates and the local team members. Up to two days of practice management content and best practice sharing specifically focused on the successful implementation of offshore support models. Accommodation (includes 2 nights in central Cebu and 2 nights plus late check out on the final day/night on Mactan)\, with breakfast included. Optional room upgrades available. Airport transfers and local transportation whilst in Cebu. Group dinners (3) and lunches (4). Local cultural engagement and the opportunity to extend your stay at preferential hotel rates (pre- or post-study tour accommodation to be paid separately). Investment Required: The cost of the tour\, including accommodation (4 nights\, plus late check out on the 5th night)\, conference sessions\, all local transport\, meals and local taxes will be $2\,510 per delegate..  Please note: Whilst flights are not included in the cost above\, economy airfares from most major Australian metropolitan airports are averaging around $1\,500 per person (depending on the airline)\, which makes the combined cost to be approx $4\,010 for the week. GST is not payable. A minimum of 20 delegates is required for the tour to proceed (and the tour will be capped at 40 delegates). Next Steps: Secure your place by clicking the Expression of Interest below and filling in your details A non-refundable deposit of $110 per attendee is required to confirm your accommodation booking. 50% ($1\,200) of the balance will be required by 30 June 2026\, with the final 50% ($1\,200) due by 31 July 2026. A full itinerary and detailed agenda will be shared with confirmed delegates in June. AS A REMINDER Participants will gain: First‑hand insight into how offshore advice support teams operate in practice A clearer understanding of what to outsource\, what to retain onshore\, and why Practical examples of workflow design\, role clarity and quality control Insight into governance\, data security and risk management considerations Greater confidence to make informed decisions about future operating models The focus is on education and informed decision‑making\, not promotion of any single solution. Key outcomes: By the end of the study tour\, participants will be better equipped to: Assess whether offshoring is appropriate for their practice Identify opportunities to improve efficiency\, turnaround times and adviser capacity Strengthen client outcomes through better operational design Apply learnings within their own practice\, regardless of size or stage of growth   Other information: Proof of mandatory comprehensive travel insurance will be required at least 2 weeks prior to departure. If you would like to take advantage of the preferential rates for accommodation to extend your stay\, please contact The Accommodation Brokers to discuss options. If interest exceeds the maximum number of delegates (40)\, the FAAA reserves the right to limit the number of attendees from a single practice. The FAAA reserves the right to amend the program. If geopolitical events mean that the study tour cannot proceed in August\, the tour will be postponed until early 2027.
