Financial Planning Week from Monday 7 – Sunday 13 October 2024 is a time to celebrate the profession and recognise how financial planners help Australians live well.
To mark the occasion, the FAAA has commissioned new research highlighting the Value of Financial Planning. The third Value of Advice Index explores both financial and non-financial benefits, measuring its impact on quality of life, financial confidence, and satisfaction, while debunking common myths and analysing the profession’s future. The full report is available in the member toolkit which you can download below.
The toolkit also includes online resources like an infographic and social media tiles to help you promote the profession to clients and your community. Join us in celebrating and sharing the content to highlight the value of financial planning in Australia.

This year’s 24th edition of Financial Planning Week runs from 7-13 October coinciding with World Financial Planning Day on Wednesday 9 October. Every year, the FAAA celebrates Financial Planning Week to remind Australians about the benefits of financial advice. As part this year’s Financial Planning Week campaign, the FAAA has commissioned the third annual Value of Advice Consumer Research which recognises the benefits of using a financial adviser.
The Value of Advice research shows that the top 5 benefits of working with a (financial adviser/CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional) include:
