Who can be identified and verified using FAAA SafeID?
You can digitally verify both indiviuals and the individual beneficial owners of trusts and companies. You can also digitally verify the entities they own, if the data exists to do so.
Is there a limit to how many checks can be done per month?
There is no limit to the number of checks that you can complete over any time period. Where you incur transaction costs above the monthly minimum fee, these will be added to your monthly account.
Is there a discount for FAAA members who use FAAA SafeID?
Yes, FAAA members access the best price for FAAA SafeID. The more FAAA members in your practice, the better the price for your firm.
Can we access the FAAA member discount if not all advisers in our practice are FAAA members?
Yes, the discount can be calculated pro rata based on the number of advisers who are FAAA members.
Do product providers accept identification through FAAA SafeID?
Will licensees accept identification through FAAA SafeID?
We are aware of many licensees who enable use of digital client identification tools. It is best to check with your own licensee about this; we are happy to help with any discussions with your licensee.
