Overview
SOLD OUT: You’re Invited: Celebrate International Women’s Day 2026 with the FAAA Sydney Metro INSPIRE Committee.
Join the FAAA Sydney Metro INSPIRE Community for a memorable lunch as we honor International Women’s Day 2026 on Thursday, March 5, at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf. This year, we proudly embrace the UN Women theme, #BalanceTheScales, focusing on empowering women and girls and championing fair, inclusive justice worldwide.
Our flagship event brings together financial advisers, industry leaders, students, and advocates for gender equality to celebrate the achievements of women in financial advice and recognise the leaders and organisations driving meaningful progress. Building on last year’s sold-out success, this year’s gathering will spotlight fairness, visibility, and action—showcasing how our profession can foster safer, more equitable workplaces and open new pathways for women.
Event Highlights
Keynote Speaker: Be inspired by Shelly Horton, acclaimed journalist, TV presenter, and founder of Shell-Shocked Media. Known for her bold and candid voice, Shelly will share insights on confidence, communication, and elevating women’s visibility, encouraging us all to challenge imbalance and take action.
Networking Opportunities: Connect with peers, mentors, and industry changemakers to build a stronger, more inclusive community
Celebration and Strategy: Reflect on the strides women have made in financial advice and explore practical strategies to accelerate change, foster inclusion, and shape the future of our profession.
We look forward to celebrating with you and making a lasting impact together!
