This session will provide participants with the background of elder abuse and up to date case law surrounding not only the landscape of elder abuse but also highlight the role of the adviser in that space. As 1 in 6 older Australians will experience some form of elder abuse, this session is critical for advisers to gain an understanding of the risks being faced by clients along with their trusted advisers.
