FAAA Melbourne Metro Community Professional Development Lunch Event

Overview

‘Budget Busted and DIV 296 Client Conversations’

Join the FAAA Melbourne Committee for an insightful and practical briefing on the 2026–27 Federal Budget, on Tuesday 21 July.

Designed specifically for advisers, this session cuts through the noise to unpack what the Federal Budget really means across tax, superannuation, retirement, cost of living, housing and wealth strategies.

Hear from guest speaker, Bryan Ashenden, Head of Financial Literacy and Advocacy at BT Financial Group.

Focusing on the real-world implications, we’ll explore what’s changed, what hasn’t, and how to translate policy into clear, confident client conversations. The session will also touch on Division 296 and the evolving thinking from advisers on strategy and implementation.

CPD hours will be offered for this event.

We look forward to seeing you there!
