Our VIP guest speakers this year will include:

  • Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin, a distinguished figure in Australian rugby league, has left an indelible mark as a player, captain, coach, and media personality. Renowned as a Queensland and Manly legend, he proudly represented the state from 1982 to 1990, later serving as coach from 1995 to 1997.
  • Shane Webcke, a retired professional rugby league player, dedicated his entire club career to the Brisbane Broncos. His illustrious career saw him represent Queensland in the State of Origin an impressive 21 times, while also earning 26 caps for Australia. Notably, he clinched the prestigious title of Dally M Prop of the Year on three separate occasions.
  • Laurie Daley AM began his remarkable career at just 17, marking his debut with the Canberra Raiders, where he solidified his status as a true legend of the team. As he progressed, Laurie assumed the captaincy not only for the Canberra Raiders but also for the NSW Blues and the Kangaroos. Recently, he has been honored with a position as an Independent Director on the IRL Board, further solidifying his influence and expertise in the sport.
  • With a rich history in the sport, Karyn Murphy has excelled both as a player and as an assistant coach at the State of Origin and international levels. After retiring from rugby league in 2015, she transitioned seamlessly into leadership roles. Presently, she serves as the Director of Female Rugby League for the Gold Coast Titans and as the Head Coach for the NRLW team.
  • And your Master of Ceremonies is Justin Karcher, joining us yet again for another year as MC.
