Join us in one of five locations for the Regional QLD Roadshow Series!

At each event attendees will hear from Phil Anderson with an update on our advocacy efforts as well as a thought provoking panel including our Platinum Supporter – Brighter Super.

For a registration fee of $20, members will enjoy a two-course lunch during CPD accredited sessions (11:30am – 2:30pm) followed by networking drinks (2:30pm – 3:30pm).

This session will provide an update on the FAAA’s current advocacy initiatives. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the FAAA’s policy positions on critical issues like the CSLR, DBFO legislation, impending education standard deadlines and the recent win with the Tax Deductibility of Advice.

Panel discussion: How are Australians preparing for retirement?

Nicky Leis, Brighter Super & Walter Raspopin, Trilogy Funds

During this session, Nicky and Walter will take a comprehensive look at Australians approaching retirement and cover how many are due to retire, how they feel, their growing need for advice and how best to prepare. They will also help attendees understand the Retirement Income Covenant (RIC) and how super funds are responding.

In what promises to be a wide ranging and thought-provoking presentation, Brian will discuss what the next decade looks like and what it means for investment strategy, what Trump is right about and where he’s wrong – and how will the world respond to the new landscape in the US – and what does it all mean for us, here in Australia?
