Session Overview
Frontier AI is rapidly changing the cyber threat landscape. As AI capabilities continue to evolve, they are increasing the speed, scale and sophistication of cyber-attacks, placing greater pressure on organisations’ cyber controls, governance frameworks and incident response capabilities.
In this webinar, ASIC will explore how frontier AI is influencing cyber risk across the financial services sector and why these developments should be viewed as a resilience issue today, rather than a future technology challenge. Drawing on ASIC’s engagement with industry, the session will examine emerging threats, key observations from industry discussions, and practical considerations for firms seeking to strengthen their preparedness.
Participants will gain insights into the cyber and operational resilience implications of frontier AI, including governance, third-party dependencies, incident preparedness and resilience planning. The session will also highlight areas of ongoing focus for industry and regulators as organisations navigate an increasingly AI-enabled threat environment.
