The FAAA Sydney Metro Community Committee are excited to invite you to the highly anticipated, inaugural event, our 2025 FAAA Sydney Metro Community State of Origin Lunch on Game III of the series!

Join us on Wednesday 9 July at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney to hear from our lineup of VIP guest speakers!

This high-profile, sell-out, networking event will see proceeds generated from fundraising activities on the day go towards Family of League.

Meet your speakers

Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin

Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin, a distinguished figure in Australian rugby league, has left an indelible mark as a player, captain, coach, and media personality. Renowned as a Queensland and Manly legend, he proudly represented the state from 1982 to 1990, later serving as coach from 1995 to 1997.

Bradley Clyde

Clyde, former Australian rugby league player, renowned for his time with the Canberra Raiders and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. Having represented both NSW and Australia, and the two-time Clive Churchill Medal Winner, he has been inducted into both the NSW Blues and NRL Hall of Fame. 

Paul Dunn

Former player in the 80’s and 90’s for the New South Wales State of Origin Team, Australian International representative forward, Paul played club football in Sydney for the Eastern Suburbs, Canterbury-Bankstown, Parramatta and Penrith. Paul was awarded the Clive Churchill Medal in 1988 for his outstanding performance for the Bulldogs Grand Final against the Balmain Tigers. 

Steve Roach

Steve, also known as ‘Blocker’, former Australian League Player who played as a prop forward in the 80’s and 90’s. He represented NSW and Australia, making 39 representative appearances, playing 287 First Class games. He primarily played for the Balmain Tigers, and is well known in the sport for his powerful playing style and significant contributions to the game. 

Justin ‘JK’ Karcher

Justin is joining us in Sydney this year as MC. From the UK, Asia-Pacific, and across Australia, JK has performed over 800 shows, helping clubs and charities to raise over $25m for charity. Justin is also the MC for the FAAA Brisbane Metro Community State of Origin Lunch.
