Session Overview
Financial planners, accountants, and specialists are highly trained technically, but how to connect with a human being and structure the first meeting is rarely a deep part of the professional curriculum.
This webinar introduces The First Meeting Framework, a logically audited system designed to replace the “Selling Path” with the Serving Path.
We begin with A Simple Truth: “It’s not about ME!”. By neutralising the internal noise of performance pressure, you free yourself to be truly present with your potential client. We will explore Our True Role—moving beyond professional titles or labels.
You will learn how to redesign the first 20 minutes of every first meeting with The First Four Questions. You will experience the Serving Path in action redesigning two steps in the Selling Path:
“Close the sale”; and
“Ask for referrals”
This experiential session provides the structural integrity needed to handle the human element as reliably as a technical process.

Noel Corley
Guide (client centred conversations)
Noel has seen the evolution of the financial planning industry into the profession it has become today.
He was an investment adviser from 1978-84 then he spent the next 30 years in funds management sales and marketing. Noel spent decades navigating the “corporate conditioning” of KPIs, sales targets, and the pressure to “convince”. He asked himself had he learned anything worth sharing.
The answer that came to him was what he calls A Simple Truth, a small shift in thinking that changes everything: “It’s not about ME!”.
Since then Noel has created and brought to market “Client-Centred Conversations” in the forms of his Client Engagement Program, Workshop, PD Day presentations and 1:1s, all based on the foundation of A Simple Truth. He is a passionate about guiding technically trained professionals to have clear, pressure-free, commercially successful conversations with clients and potential clients, starting with the first meeting.
