FPA Professionals Congress 2014 inspires a great sponsor in Platinum

Under the banner of “Inspiring Greatness” the FPA today announced that Platinum Asset Management will anchor the platinum sponsorship of its 2014 Professionals Congress in Adelaide in November.

Mark Rantall, CEO of the FPA, has welcomed Platinum’s commercial partnership in support of this years’ Congress.

“The FPA is delighted to continue a mutually beneficial partnership arrangement aimed at raising the educational and professional standards of financial planners in Australia. Platinum has a strong pedigree in investor education and is a welcome fit for the marquee sponsorship of this year’s event.

“The key theme for Congress this year is to inspire greatness among the financial planning profession and provide delegates with practical advice in order for them to do greater things within their practices. The reputation and investing acumen of Platinum will provide immense value in helping to achieve this aim,” Mr Rantall said.

Platinum Asset Management has worked closely with the FPA on the national adviser road shows and the financial planning scholarship program.

Kerr Neilson, CEO of Platinum, said: “The availability of sound professional advice to individuals is essential given the obligation on the public to prepare for their financial future. For this reason, we look forward to supporting the FPA at Congress this year, where it will focus on continuing to lift the education and professionalism standards of financial planners in Australia.”

Advance ticket release registrations for the event opened last week, as the FPA announced that Carl Richards CFP® would be returning after a popular appearance at last year’s Congress.

The FPA will continue to provide further updates and confirmation of speakers and events taking place in the lead up to the Professionals Congress. For more information or to register for the Professionals Congress, please visit www.fpacongress.com.au.
