Groundbreaking US author and financial expert to speak at 2018 FPA Professionals Congress

The Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) is delighted to announce that American author and financial services expert Mitch Anthony has been confirmed as a keynote speaker for the 2018 FPA Professionals Congress, taking place in Sydney on the 21-23 November 2018.

Recognised around the globe for his pioneering work in life-centred planning, Mitch Anthony is the author of many groundbreaking books for financial planners and consumers, including bestseller Storyselling for Financial Advisors, cited by Financial Advisor magazine as the number one “must-read” book for financial professionals.

FPA CEO, Dante De Gori CFP® said Mr Anthony will share with delegates how his business model ties every product and service directly to the life transitions and goals of a client.

“We are delighted to add such a high-calibre keynote speaker like Mitch to the lineup at this year’s FPA Professionals Congress. He has provided training and development for both individual financial planners and major organisations globally for almost two decades,” said Mr De Gori.

“His life-centred planning model can help financial planners demonstrate to clients how every aspect of their lives has an impact on their wealth-building or wealth-protecting process. Delegates will be able to draw on his expertise to learn more about how to integrate financial and life planning issues for clients, grow a practice based on the life-centred financial planning model, and successfully compete in a changing industry by building lifetime client relationships.”

Mitch Anthony is also founder and president of Advisor Insights Inc., The Financial Life Planning Institute, ROL Advisor.com, and Life-Centered Planners (U.K.).

Congress registrations are now open and the early bird discount of $245 ends on 31 August 2018. Delegates can earn up to 15 CPD hours by attending this year’s Congress.  Further updates on speakers and the workshop program will be released in the lead up to the event.
